OCR Text Bennett Girl Reported In Poor Condition Special to to The Telegram FORT DUCHESNE Aug 28 Lila Llla Hamacher 18 18 of Bennett 4 injured Friday night in a truck- truck automobile crash at Gusher road and highway 40 was in critical condition at a hospital here Mon Mon- day She suffered multiple fractures of the pelvis and leg besides numerous numerous numerous nu nu- nu- nu severe cuts and bruises bruises' about the body Sheriff Herbert M. M Snyder of Uintah county said Miss Hamacher daughter of Mr and Mrs Van Hamacher was thrown from a truck driven by Earl Darling 19 of Vernal when the machine was struck by an automobile operated by Lyndon Swain 18 Vernal The sheriff said Miss Hamacher Ziona Anderson 16 of Gusher and Turner about 20 of Bennett were riding in a up pick-up truck driven by Darling Daring The girls were in the back of the truck when th the the- theve vehicle vehicle ve ve- hicle was struck from the rear by the Swain car After M Miss Mis i s s Hamacher was thrown to the highway the automobile automobile automobile auto auto- mobile ran over her the sheriff reported The car wheels skidded for 98 feet he said Miss Anderson Turner and Darling Dar Dar- ling were only slightly injured Swain suffered a broken wrist and anda a passenger in his car Miss May 17 daughter of H. H B. B o of Vernal suffered a badly cut knee The sheriff said an arrest is pending
