Only Five Days Remaining For Sub Santas to Enlist Headquarters Busy With Final Plans to Care for All Needy Children in City at Holiday By ST. ST NICK JR Only five days remain before belore Christmas which means that perso persons per per- so sons soIs s who want to become Subs Santa but haven't avent yet arranged to do so must get busy The Sub-for-Santa Sub office at room Tribune-Telegram Tribune building building build- build ing g is working at top speed in ri these lasts days to care for every needy child In the city who hasn't yet been assured a happy Christmas by some generous Sub Every such child MUST be made happy or the Sub Santa will not have accomplished its purpose With this in mind an appeal Is made for potential Subs not calling the Sub Santa office at Wasatch MO to volunteer help Little is expected of a Sub and that little is made simple by the clearing house at the office A Sub has only to state In n w many children he or she wishes to care for tor on Christmas day Names and addresses then will be furnished tho the Sub provides the toys toS and delivers delivers de de- de- de livers them to the children The office has hu re received more than from the postoffice addressed addressed addressed ad ad- dressed in childrens children's writing to 10 Santa Claus Glaus S Many of these of course are from whom children children whom Santa will wUl not miss because their parents will provide for tor th them mo m.- But letters letteri from less fortunate children wh who face tace a dreary Christmas Christmas Christ Christ- mas mae will wUl be checked A Sub for Santa investigator will make an Inquiry into each case and the in information information In- In formation will be available for Subs Thus no youngster who has written to Santa Claus Glaus will wm be overlooked
