D U. U was so tense it was badly ou outclassed I 1 Result A brilliant dem demonstration by the Ute Utes but n nevertheless lopsided a game I 1 13 12 Brigham Young Colorado colleges college's victory over 9 university at Provo was the seasons season's closest tilt but it was a for all of its closeness of s' s s comparatively drab attraction score and lost much opportunity for glamorous appeal because it was between two of the seasons season's less successful y teams The Cougars were in the throes of oC a letdown after a af a 1 f surprising demonstration of strength the week before ti i against Greeley State and they failed to sparkle over any fl f sustained period 4 Denver's disappointment the snowstorm which a the Utah-Colorado Utah game were entirely beyond the I of Utah college officials of course but they proved doubly disappointing inasmuch as the schools had hadnot not hot not arranged more at attractive sch schedules dules in the first place h Spectacular games in the two mentioned attractions probably would have made fans forgetful that that more mor high ligh grade football was not scheduled in In the stadium here this season s r X Folks trying to compare the Utes and for their forthcoming conflict must not place too much reliance in the won wont t nI l lost iest column for it hardly gives a true perspective of the rival ival strengths The conference standings show that have won five ames out of six thereby tying De Denver for second place and hat Utah has won four out of five while C.
