Show MILITARY DUTY REGISTRATION SET FOR YOUNGER MEN Fifth registration for prospective prospec-tive selectees for military duty has been set for 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, for men of the ages 18, 19 and 20 years. This takes in those young men who were born on or after January 1, 1922, and on or before June 30, 1924. According to Postmaster Earl T. James, directing registration in Bingham district, those required re-quired to report who live at Bingham Canyon, Highland Boy, Copperfield or Copperton may register at the City hall. Residents Resi-dents of Lark affected by the order may report at the U. S. Smelting, Refining and Mining company office at Lark. The proclamation issued by President Roosevelt May 22 states stat-es that every man of the ages involved "is required . to and shall on June 30, 1942, present himself for and submit to registration regis-tration before a duly designated registration official or selective service local board having juris-, diction in the area in which he has his permanent home or in which my happen to be on that day if such male citizen or other male person has attained the eighteenth or the nineteenth anniversary an-niversary of the day of his birth on or before June 30, 1942, or the twentieth anniversary of the day of his birth after December 31; 1941, and on or before June 30, 1942, and has not heretofore been registered under the selective training and service act of 1940, as amended, and the regulations " prescribed thereunder." Serial and order numbers will be given new registrants on basis of birth days. Cards of registrants born on January 1, 1922, will be on top and those born June 30, 1924, on the bottom. Classification of 18 and 19-year-old men will be withheld until they reach military age. 20-year-old registrants regis-trants are subject to service. O |
