Mr. and Mrs. George Gadd were Sunday guests at the La-Vell La-Vell Timothy home in Bingham. Wednesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winn telephoned their son, Staff Sergeant Ehvin Winn and his wife at Wake Forest, For-est, N.C. Nix, president of the Relief society, acted as chairman of arrangements and was assisted by Mrs. Elva Jensen, Jen-sen, Mrs. James Carrigan, Marvin Mar-vin Ray, "Mrs. George Gadd, Martin Mar-tin D. Jensen and Ernest Died-erich, Died-erich, master of ceremonies. A program directed by Mrs. Clinton Clin-ton Poulsen began the evening's entertainment, after which the following booths were opened: cake sale, Relief society; Christmas Christ-mas gifts, priesthood; fish pond, nrinwy dart games, Boy Scouts; rice balls and cookies, Sunday school; hot dogs, chili and pop, MIA. The Home Town orchestra played for the dance. Proceeds from the evening will be used to heat the church this winter. Pvt. and Mrs. Eugene Perrine of Mineral Wells, Tex., were honor guests last evening at a family dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Jensen and family of Copperton moved to Midvale to make their home. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Kelly at dinner Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kelly of Salt Lake City and V. David Sabin of Washington, D. C. Copperton ward held a diamond dia-mond jubilee for YWMIA at the Sunday evening meeting and a dance and program at regular MIA Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. William H. Krue-ger Krue-ger spent November 22 with Mrs. L. Johnson and Mrs. S. Creer at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. John Christen-sen Christen-sen of Grace, Ida., left Monday after a five-day visit with Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Stoker. Visitors at the Stoker home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Austin Christensen of Central, Ida., and Mrs. Hattie Westlund. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Stoddard and family returned .Sunday night from a four-day stay at Providence with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leichty and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kendrick and in Logan with Mrs. Bert Morse. Mrs. Harry Sours and Mrs. C. J. McCormack and son, Harry James, visited Mrs. Laura McDonald Mc-Donald of Midvale. Mrs. J. D. Laycock and Mrs. L. W. Bridge was played and a delightful delight-ful luncheon served. Mrs. Meade, who is taking over management of a grocery in Spokane, received receiv-ed lovely farewell gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schick entertained en-tertained at a buffet luncheon following the Bingham high school football dance November 22. Entre Nous club entertained Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. A. V. Peterson. A midnight mid-night luncheon was served, prizes priz-es at bridge going to Mrs. Axel Sybrowsky, Mrs. William Ablett and Mrs. Myles Gaythwaite. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Brisk were hosts at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Feraco. Pyra-cantha Pyra-cantha berries in crystal swan containers and bone white tapers tap-ers in crystal holders decorated the table.
