Show Mrs Steve Vranes was hostess hos-tess to the 509 club Wednesday evening. Prizes went to Mrs. George Eastman, Mrs. Earl Big-ler Big-ler and Mrs. Tom Blockovich. A delightful supptr was served- Mrs. DeVere Coombs entertained enter-tained at dinner last evening for Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Rostrom of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ball. Mrs. Dorothy Black of Denver left Friday for Huntington Park, Calif., following a four-day stay with her aunt, Mrs. Dell Nell. Mrs. H. K. Olson of Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Augustson and family. r , Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nell and son of Midvale spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with Mr. and Mrs. Dell Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at Herriman LDS ward for Mrs. Fannie Jane Crane Miller of Herriman, who died at her home Monday. She was the mother of Mrs. Ray Parry Par-ry of Herriman, for many years a resident of Lark. : lark ' : Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnston of Salt Lake City spent the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. George Eastman. Staff Sergeant and Mrs. Keith A. Kendall (Aloha Eastman) left Amarillo, Tex., November 10 and are now at Biloxi, Miss. Mrs. Betty Peterson Carter came home last week from San Francisco where she spent two weeks with relatives of her husband, hus-band, Seaman Carlyle Carter. Air Cadet Royal F. Green arrived ar-rived Sunday from San Antonio, Tex., for a 10-day leave. Mrs. Green (Madge Crump) will return re-turn with her husband. Lt. B. G. Rolfe, now with the army air force as a pilot of a B-17 in England, recently received re-ceived the air medal, according to word sent his wife, the former form-er Fern Crump. Mr. and Mrs. Asahel Crump and family, residents of Lark for over 20 years, left Monday to make their home at 350 Sixth avenue, Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Benton Boyd are happy parents of a nine-pound seven-ounce son born at Holy Cross hospital November 27. The Boyds have three children all sons. Phil Wilde was called to San Gabriel, Calif., Sunday by the death of an uncle. Mr. and Mrs. George Spangler of Salt Lake City were guests Thanksgiving of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Mudgett. Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Goodwin of Independence, Calif., left Monday afte rspending Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays with Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Goodwin. Mrs. Arnt Thompson of Mc-G Mc-G ill, Nov., is remaining at her home in Lark until after the Christmas holidays. Mrs. Uettia Peterson plans to leave in the near future to visit a daughter in San Francisco. |
