Robert Rhodda and son, Jim-my, of Mid vale, were visiting here last Saturday with old friends in Copper field. Mr. and Mrs. Rhodda are moving to Sac-ramento, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bapis cele-brated their son, Paul's, name day on June 30. Among their euests at dinner were Mr. and Mrs. James Mitchell and daugh-ter of Salt Lake City and Mr. und Mrs. Katis and lamily and several others. She and her daughters, Betty Lou and Bonnie Jane, left for New Mexi-co to join her husband, who has accepted a position with the U. S. Mining company. Three families formed a party at Liberty park on July Fourth: Mr. and Mrs. Mike Katis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Koro-logo- s and family, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Sarantos. Mr. and Mrs. John Mannos and family spent the Fourth of July at Farmington. Mike Baros is now stationed at Hill Field as a mechanic in the Air Force. Mrs. Baros and children will move either to Og-den or Salt Lake City in the near future. Mrs. Mike Baros and children returned from Fruita, Colo., Mon-day. They visited Mrs. Baros' mother, Mrs. Abeyta. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Phipps and family and Miss Beverly Barrett enjoyed July Fourth at Liberty park. Mrs. Wade Todd and children of Layton are spending a few days visiting at the Fred Bren-ner home. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Milner and daughter, Pearl, joined Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McDonald and spent Tuesday at Liberty park. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Marsh and family of Logan spent several days this week visiting at" the Paul Miller home. Last Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ted Seroggin and Mrs. Lovell Henry and son were luncheon guests at the Carl Hauffman home in Salt Lake City. Pvt. Dewey Crabtree, who is at Fort Douglas, had a pass last Sunday and was able to visit his wife for a short while. The Safety society held their annual con-vention at Salt Lake City June 29-3- 0 and July 1 at the Newhouse hotel. The Utah Conner company sent two men in each day to at-tend sessions. Last Saturday Ted Seroggin and II. W. Kirkendall were the delegates at meetings and the banquet. Mrs. James Hill entertained the "Lucky 13" club at her home in Telegraph last Friday evening. Mrs. Hill, as hostess, received the usual gift. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd J. Barnard of Salt Lake Citv were breakfast guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Thomas.
