M II Green the Intermountain intermountain in- in I representative for the U.S. U.S. U. U S. S grain corporation the winter wheat crop Is being harvested generally and the spring wheat harvest is well under way However there is very little wheat moving as the farmers are holding their grain on an expected rise The only buying that Is being done is that of the millers m of Utah who have been without grain for some time and who are anxious to get a supply on hand at once Although the government Is pr prepared pared to handle a million m bushels through Salt Lake Lalee said Mr Greene they have bought little if any grain because prices are being paid from l 10 to 20 cents higher than the guaranteed guaranteed guaran guaran- teed price of 2 2 offered by the grain corporation The ordinary crop of winter wheat for Idaho Is in the neighborhood of bushels and for Utah 2 25 bushels For spring wheat what Idaho 0 or produces 12 bushels and Utah bushels According to I Ithe the estimates therefore Utah W will l be shy nearly bushels on spring wheat and Idaho will be short by nearly near near- ly bushels |
