Show GIRL SCOUT NEWS Carol Peterson, scribe. The home of Jeanette Groves was scene of the Girl Scout meeting meet-ing at 6 p. m. January 26. Margaret Mar-garet McKellar, leader of the Pigeon patrol, was in charge of the program. A salute to the flag was given followed by singing of "I Am An American". Captain Cap-tain Nona Carrigan then drilled us in "The Horehoe Formation" and plans were discussed for the investiture. Present were Margaret Mar-garet McKellar, Bonnie Bethel, Carol Peterson, Joyce Miller, Erma June Gammell, Margaret Nix, Janice Hansen, Norma Swain, Colleen Robison, Lois Groves, Shirley Watkins, Jeanette Jean-ette Groves and Shirley Smith. The meeting closed with singing sing-ing of "Taps". Investiture ceremonies for Copperton Cop-perton Girl Scouts were planned at the meeting held at the home of Joyce Miller January 19. With Colleen Robison acting as chairman, chair-man, committees were elected and a program planned. Other business included singing of A-merica, A-merica, calling the roll, collection of dues and a lemon eatine relav. |
