| Show BODY OF D ORG OWNED YOUTH ED SMITHFIELD July 25 After 25 After searching the Bear river for more than 12 hours the body of Emerson Hall HaIl 16 son of Mrs Zina Hall Hail was discovered cred at ot 7 a. a in m Saturday feet teet below the point where the boy disappeared Friday at 4 p. p p. p in while he was In swimming with a com corn panion After the body was recovered it was brought here to be prepared for tor bur bur- ial al Funeral arrangements have not been completed It w was announced no inquest would be held Young Hall and Maurice Peterson 15 son con of J. J Leslie Peterson of Smithfield Smith- Smith field had been fishing Because of Intense heat hent the boys bos decided to cool off oct in the river The Peterson bo boy was the thc best swimmer and was as assisting as- as slating the Hall bo boy in the wa water er Without warning young Hall HaU slipped flipped Into a deep hole and soon was vas help help- less Ius Peterson attempted to rescue him but failed He then mounted a horse parse and dashed for aid When help arrived the Hall H Jl boy could be seen uen nowhere The search was taken up at once but by nightfall he had not been found The search continued all aU night with automobile headlights thrown onto the stream but without avail The Hall boy is survived by his mother and a brother and sister Joseph Joseph Joseph Jo Jo- seph and Ella Hall all of Smithfield S I |
