L j. j Hunt former minister of the First Unitarian church will wUl officiate Mr and Mrs Gillette GUIette came to Salt Lake five weeks ago to spend the summer They had been living In Seattle Wash VaS Mr Gillette was well known In Utah having been associated with the he GustIn Gillette Bra Brayton ton law firm finn in Salt Lake He first came here herein heren in n 1909 and was associated with the theia ia law aw firm until 1921 after which he practiced alone He practiced In Cod Cody W Wyo o and Cripple Creek Colo Cole where he was county prosecutor durIng during dur duro ing labor riots in the mines there thereabout thereabout thereabout about 30 years ago Mr Gillette GUlette suffered a stroke while playing golf golt at the Salt Lake Country club In April 1929 and never fully recovered He was a member of the Alta AHa and Country clubs and received hi his degree de dc- dc gree In law at Washington and Jet Jet- ferson orson university at Washington Pa Surviving besides his widow Mrs Matilda Fritsche Gillette is a sister ML Miss Aletta AJetta Gillette of Seattle who I will wiil arrive here Sunday to attend the funeral 4 |
