| Show PIONEER DAY RODEO ODEO MISH MISHAP P KillS RIDER mH MONTICELLO July 25 All 25 All southeastern southeastern south south- eastern Utah mourned today the passing of one of its Us widely known and highly esteemed citizens Ancil Redd 39 39 killed Friday when he was rolled roller on by his horse in the Pioneer day rodeo at Blanding He was a n. noted horseman a sportsman sportsman sports- sports man nan and a picturesque character He died Instantly from his injuries Mr Redd was manager of the Blanding Irrigation system s and manager manager man man- ager also of the Blanding Light and Power company He He- was assistant superintendent of the state Y M. M M. M I. I A. A He was born in 1892 In Colonia Juarez Mexico a son of Lemuel H. H and Louisa Redd of Blanding The family was WM driven en from Mexico followIng fol- fol lowIng the Madero revolution re In 1911 and settled at BlandIng He was a married married mar mar- ried ned to Louise Elliott in 1915 She survives sur him with six sons and daughters Afton Elliot Argyle Don JessieMay May and an Infant son He was a brother of the late L.
