Show A NEW LINE From halt Lake City to the Hut Springs. A meeting was held in thecitj last cveulng for the tiurpose of organizing or-ganizing the Great Silt Lake & Hot Springs Railway Company. The artltU-s of Incorporation were considered con-sidered and passed. Thry provide for a road from some point in the north part of the city, thence running run-ning througn the count'es of Salt Lake and Division point near Far-mlngton, Far-mlngton, and also froai a point in the road described westward through Kinney 4 Gourlay'ii addition ad-dition to a point near tho Joniin River. The total length of tt c nnd will be about twenty miles and Is to be operated by steam dummlesor by electricity. Fares ore not to exceed ten cents one w ay. The work or construction Is to commence as soon as thu route is fully located, and the roaj is to be in operation within the next ninety days. Ties and rails have been secured and thu road will bs pushed as rapidly as possible. After the adjournment of the stockholders' stock-holders' meeting the directors held a meeting and elected the following ofilcen: S. Bimberger, 'president; John Beck, vlcc-jresldeut; A. L. Williams, second vice president; A. 1Z. Hyde, treasurtr, and II. P. Fulsom, s-jcretary. The prtslueut was authorized to employ a competent compe-tent surveyor, proceed with the work forthwith, aud to advertise for bids for grading. Ttie secretary and treasurer wero authorized to get supplies for their otUces, and Messrs. Jennings, Williams and Amos were appointed a committee to obtain more stock subscriptions. |
