Show HIGHWAY LIGHTING SYSTEftllPROVED Two major improvements in street lighting of Bingham district dis-trict will be completed before April 1. it is announced by George T. Parkinson, district superintendent superinten-dent of Utah Power and Light company. Already accomplished is a change over from series to multiple mul-tiple circuit at Copperfield. The decided improvement involved replacing fixtures, and installation installa-tion of 1500 lumen globes in place of the 1000 lumen globes formerly former-ly in use. State highway in Copperton will be more attractive and a safer thoroughfare by this time next week when 19 street lights will be switched on. The project, pro-ject, first proposed by Bingham Lions club, cost $1500, paid by the Salt "Lake county street lighting ligh-ting department. Latest type 16-foot 16-foot upsweep mast arm with Improved Im-proved luminaire reflectors have been erected by Utah Power and Light company crews and are ready for use. - |
