Show 3Ioran Stake Conference. The quarterly conferenco or this Stake convened in tbe Stake House on Sunday and Monday, the 10th and 17th Inst. Tho meetings were generally well attended and a good spirit prevailed. We received much good counsel and instruction from the Presidency of the Stake and other members of the Priesthood; also from some of tun brethren from Summit aud Davis Stakes. Among thu local brethren who spokcolurlng conference was Elder Jisxpli Waldnn, who has just returned re-turned from a three years' mletlon to New Zealand. He gave an interesting- and instructive account of Ids labors and experiences among the unlives of that island, including an account of their histury, lifoani habits, and doted by bearing his testimony In Uie Maori language. Thu general and local authorities were presented and unanimously sustained. The conference was brojgbt to a close at -I p.m. on Monday, and at!-journed at!-journed for three months.
