Gene McDonald is spending spend-ing a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myles McDonald. Mc-Donald. Gene was advanced to the rank of Corporal Technician upon completion of a course of study at the presidio. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Fine of Salt Lake City entertained at dinner Tuesday for Gene and Mr. and Mrs. McDonald. Mc-Donald. The Women's club of Terrace Heights met Friday at the home of Mrs. Don Evans. Eight guests were present and prizes given Mrs. Annie Lumley, Mrs. Marie Hardman and Mrs. Enid Mecham. A delicious diner was served. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Kirkendall were guests of Miss Mary Strel-ich Strel-ich of Murray of Murray Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Nevers and family were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cowdell Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. John Holmes were business visitors in Salt Lake City February 1. Mrs. Clarence Bullock and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gardikas anS son, John, were dinner guests of Mr- and Mrs. Lester Jackson of Salt Lake City Tuesday. Mrs. Marvin Cowdell honored her daughter, Colleen, January 20 at a party on her eighth birthday. birth-day. Nineteen guests were present pres-ent and each were given a gift. A tasty luncheon was served. Colleen opened her many lovely birthday gifts. |
