Atkinson, Herald photographer Federated W omens Qlubs Sponsor Annual oArt Tea Saturday $ Committee chairmen and their assistants are busy this week rounding out plans for the annual Art Tea, sponsored each spring by the Federated Women's clubs of Springville during the April Art Month. The tea will be conducted at the high school Art Gallery on Saturday, Satur-day, April 10, from 3 until 6 p. n, and invitations have been extended extend-ed to Federated club women from all over the state to . attend this lovely function. Invitations have also gone out to a number of special spec-ial guests, and it is expected that approximately 500 women will attend at-tend the tea and view the art during dur-ing the afternoon. The Art Tea has become a tradition so far- as club ladies of Springville are . concerned, and members of federated clubs throughout the state look forward to the event to see the art and participate in the afternoon social. Guests will be greeted at the entrance by the receiving line composed of club presidents and other federated club leaders. Springville club ladies will be in attendance to register the guests, to distribute catalogues and art booklets, and to show the visitors about the galleries, telling them something of the exhibit and the pictures on display. Every detail of the entertainment entertain-ment is being worked out to assure as-sure club ladies a profitable and entertaining afternoon. The affair af-fair is arranged for Federated club ladies only, and every member of every federated club in Springville especially is requested to attend some time during the visiting period. Mrs. Maurice Anderson, chairman chair-man of the decorations committee, is being assisted by Mrs. W. W. Cljtde, Mrs. J. Y. Bearnson, Mrs. Lorraine Beach, Mrs. Frank Crandall, Cran-dall, Mrs. George Bird, Mrs. J. M. Sumsion, Miss Aileen McKenzie. Mrs. Lewis Bird is being assisted as-sisted with program numbers by Mrs. V. C. Mendenhall and Mrs. Lacelle Sumsion. On the invitations committee are Mrs. Berton Groesbeck and Mrs. Sherman Nielson.
