Show LOCAL RESIDENT DIES AT SPANISH FORK Mrs. Mary Davis Curtis, 56, resident of Springville died Friday morning in the home of a sister, Mrs. Leslie Biglow at Spanish Fork, after an illness of six weeks. Mrs. Curtis was born June 9, 1891, in Spanish Fork, a daughter of Lehi R. and Mary Katherine Chappie Davis. She received her education in Spanish Fork public schools. During her life she had been active in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, especially es-pecially in the Sunday school, Relief Re-lief society and the Mutual Improvement Im-provement Ass'n. She was married to LeRoy Curtis Cur-tis in May, 1915, in Provo. They resided in Spanish Fork until 10 years ago, when they moved to Salt Lake City. After residing there for six years they moved to Springville. Mr. Curtis is employed em-ployed at the Ford garage. Survivors include her husban'd, Springville, two sisters, Mrs. Biglow and Mrs. Leo Hales of Spanish Fork. Funeral services were conducted Monday in the Spanish Fork Third L D S ward chapel by J. Austin Cope, bishop. Burial was in -the Spanish Fork cemetery directed by the Claudin funeral home. |
