Show CULTURAL ARTS CLUB AT OPENING MEET An evening in Hawaii might have been the theme of the opening open-ing meeting of the Cultural Arts club held at the home of the club president, Mrs. Marie Poulsen last Wednesday evening. Interesting in every detail, the program featured Miss Laura Shepherd of Payson in a talk on the Hawaiian' Islands and she also exhibited a number of films taken on a recent trip to the Islands. The club program books were distributed and in conclusion, a tasty lunch, further emphasizing the Hawaiian theme, was served to eighteen members and two guests, the latter including Miss Beth Miller and Mrs. Ida Flom. |
