Show Zany Writers Spark Hilarious Comedy On Rivoli Screen Right now, Wednesday, at the Rivoli theatre, movie fans are viewng as screwy a pair of radio scribes as they have ever found in fact or fiction. They are Wil-lard Wil-lard Parker and Chester Morris, who, along with Marguerite Chapman, Chap-man, Janis Carter and Hugh Herbert, Her-bert, are featured in Columbia Pictures' "One Way to Love." ' Credit for their comicalities must in large measure go to writers writ-ers Joseph Hoffman and Jack Henley, who made the 'scream-play" 'scream-play" from the original story of Lester Lee and Larry Marks, plus the smart and high-tempoed direction di-rection of Ray Knright. The situations situ-ations are basically funny and grow more so with every turn and twist of plot and incident. Barry Cole (Chester Morris) is very upset when he gets ' a 1,000 a week radio program and is minus min-us the writing ability of his partner, part-ner, Mitch Raymond (Willard Parker). Mitch has been persuaded per-suaded to quit radio for the steady stea-dy job of advertising the organ business of his fiancee's (Marguerite (Marg-uerite Chapman) father. Josie (Janis Carter), Barry's girl friend, is just as distressed. It's a kisser-diller of a comedy thriller. |
