Show REPORT GIVEN STATE HEALTH For the week ending September 14, a total of 182 cases of communicable com-municable diseases was reported to the Utah State Department of Health by physicians and local health officers 50 of these patients pa-tients are listed as nonresidents. For the previous week, 156 cases were reported, 37 of whom were nonresidents. Twenty-one resident cases of poliomyelitis were reported for the week and one nonresident case as compared with 21 resident and two nonresident cases for the previous week. This brings the total for the week to 157 resident cases and 6 nonresident cases. The new cases for this week were distributed as follows: Carbon county, 1; Salt Lake City, 8; Summit, Sum-mit, 1; Tooele, 1; Utah, 3; Provo, 1; Weber, 1 and Ogden City, 5. A death from the disease was reported re-ported during the week, making a total of 14 fatalities during the present epidemic. One case each of tularemia was reported from Emery county and Salt Lake City. A total of 23 cases of this disease has been reported during the year two of the cases resulted fatally.
