Mrs. Lillian Christensen recently recent-ly returned here from California after her husband left for overseas over-seas duty and is with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bunker. Bunk-er. . iiiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiiiiniitiiiiiihiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiifuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimii PERSONAL NEWS NOTES ... Mrs. Paul C. Miner, accompanied accompan-ied by her sister, Mrs. Lillian B. Corey of Salt Lake City, has just returned from a 1400-mile trip in which they visited their brother, Vernon, whom they had not seen for 31 years, at Cherry Creek, Ariz. Also on their way down, they stopped at the Grand, Kai-bab Kai-bab and Zion canyons and visited relatives at Prescott, Ariz. On their return they visited at Kingman, King-man, Ariz., at Las Vegas, Nev., and also at Boulder dam. They went by car and reported an exceptionally ex-ceptionally enjoyable trip without even changing a tire. Cpl. Richard Willey of Bara-boo, Bara-boo, Wis., arrived in Springville last Tuesday to visit his wife, the former Phyllis Reynolds. He has been with the Eighth Air, force in England and has been given a 37-day furlough before he reports to Santa Anita, Calif. On Fri-j Fri-j day, the couple plan to leave to visit his parents at Prairie Du Sac, Wis., and also with other relatives in the east. Sgt. and Mrs. Clemence G. Martin, (Beth Elaine Williams) visited over the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Williams in this city. Sgt. Martin was given an honorable |
