The Springville Jaycees pulled up to tie the Firemen for second spot with two wins and one loss. Friday, July 26, the Springville Jaycees will meet the V. F. W. team at 7 p. m., in what should be a good game. At 8 p. m., the Firemen will meet the Springville Oarage. Majleton Jaycees and Raymonds will tangle at 9. Tuesday, July 30, schedule follows: fol-lows: 7 p. m. Spr. Jaycees vs. Hay- monds. 8 p. m. V. W F vs Springville Garage 9 p. m. Mapleton Jaycees vs. Firemen. The Mapleton Jaycees and Firemen Fire-men game looms as the game of the evening. Should the Firemen tip the leaders, the chances for a tie for top honors for the Firemen would look good. Last Friday night the Springville Spring-ville Jaycees tipped the Firemen 5-2. The FVW-Haymond game was an interesting duel, ending 9-6 for the Vets. Mapleton dumped Springvillo Garage 9-0 in the other oth-er contest. All games are played on Tuesday Tues-day and Friday nights beginning at 7 p. m., and are free to the public a service of the city recreation rec-reation program. |
