Show LESSON TOPICS FOR D.U.P; LISTED FOR YEAR Monthly lesson subjects for the Daughters of Utah Pioneers from September to May, 1949, were announced an-nounced today by Mrs. Kate B. Carter, president of the Central Company. Lessons will be compiled from suggestions sent to the DUP headquarters and will then be mailed to companies for use as a study guide during the coming year's meetings, said Mrs. Carter. Lesson topics for each month are: "They Came in '48" September "Political Parties" October; "Trails and Pioneers Who Followed Follow-ed Them" and "Toll Gates Bridges and Ferries of the West" November; Novem-ber; "Western Folklore" January; Janu-ary; "They Move South" February; Febru-ary; "Dairy" March; "The" Story of the Blind in Utah" April; "History of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, including Charter Members, Mem-bers, Presidents and County Organizations" Or-ganizations" May. |
