Show CIVIC ORCHESTRA TO SHARE IN CONCERT PROCEEDS At a board meeting of the Jay-cees Jay-cees Tuesday evening, it was arranged ar-ranged to give half of the proceeds pro-ceeds from the Rubinoff concert to the Civic orchestra, officers reported Wednesday. In turn, members of the orchestra will assist as-sist with advance sale of tickets. The civic orchestra is in need of equipment and in as much as the Jaycees made some money on the Fourth of July celebration, enough to place them out of debt, they are going to assist the civic orchestra, it was pointed out. The Springville Junior Chamber won the travel trophy when they attended an inter-club meet at Ogden last week With 19 members mem-bers in attendance, the local delegation de-legation totaled the most man miles and were given the Bob Jimas travel award. The Springville club must within with-in the next 30 days sponsor a travel trophy meeting at which time the award will go to another club. |
