Show Club oArt T m ' Date Set For oApril 20 The annual Art Tea, sponsored ; by the Springville Federated Women's Wo-men's clubs, will be conducted on Saturday, April 20, instead of April Ap-ril 13, as was preciously announced, announc-ed, because of the district convention conven-tion being held on the latter date at Lehi. Chairmen to arrange various details de-tails of the event have been selected se-lected by Mrs. m Ronald Thorpe, president of the Federated Clubs' Organization, who will act as general gen-eral chairman of the Tea. Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson and Mrs. Milton Harrison are chairmen chair-men in charge of refreshments; Mrs. Glenn Sumsion and Mrs. Lynn Alleman, decorations; Mrs. Arthur Finley and Mrs. Harrison Conover, program; Mrs. Harold Christensen and Mrs. Ralph Child, invitations; Mrs. Kay Johnson and Mrs. Carl Poulsen, serving; Mrs. W. H. Brown, publicity. Presidents of the various clubs will act as the reception committee, commit-tee, and will also assist with general gen-eral arrangements. They include, Mrs. H. M. Weight, Alpha Beta club; Mrs. Willis Sumsion, Mothers Moth-ers Study club; Mrs. Ronald Thorpe, general chairman, Home Culture club; Mrs. A. E. Jacobsen, Ladies Literary club; Mrs. Carl Poulsen, Cultural Arts club; Mrs. A. C. Chader, Aureole club; Mrs. Kay Johnson, Pari Passu club. Elaborate plans are underway to make the Tea one of the lovliest affairs of its kind ever held here. Special invitations will be extended extend-ed to Mrs. Herbert B. Maw, wife of the governor, and to all state and district federation officers, to be in attendance. In addition, members from federated women's clubs from all parts of the state are expected to be present during the afternoon. |
