Show Adjustment Of Service Men's Pay Advocated Terminal leave pay would be given enlisted men, as well as officers, of-ficers, under the provisions of a bill introduced in congress by Representative Rep-resentative Mansfield of Montana. Why not? The hazards faced by the enlisted en-listed men now returning from the wars were probably greater than those confronted by their officers. Yet, under existing law, the officer offi-cer who took no leave, while in the service is allowed a month's terminal ter-minal leave with full pay for each year of service. The enlisted man gets mustering-out pay, but no terminal leave. |
