Show "Abie's Irish Rose" To Be Given Next Wednesday, Thursday t ; "Abie's Irish Rose," hilarious comedy in three acts by the well known playwright, Ann Nichols, will be repeated by request next Wednesday and Thursday evenings, March 31 and April 1, beginning at 8:15 p., m., in the Second ward amusement hall. Directed by Mrs. Jessie J. Dalton, Dal-ton, the popular drama was the subject of much fine comment following fol-lowing the first presentation some time ago. The play is being sponsored spon-sored by the Second and Eighth ward M. I. A. organization, as a building fund project, and the public is cordially invited to see the entertainment. Mrs. Ruth Alleman will be seen as "Mrs. Isaac Cohan, and Bill Pratt as Mr. Isaac Cohan. Leo Clayson takes the part of Dr. Jacob Ja-cob Samuel, and Lowell Crandall will be Solomon Levy in the play. The part of Abraham Levy is taken by Merlin Fox; "Rosemary Murphy," Delores Childs; "Patrick Murphy," Oliver Dalton; and "Father Whalen," Champ Allen. Appearing as bridesmaids are: Pauline Boyer, Bonnie Dalby, Marilyn' Mari-lyn' Groesbeck and Norma Sumsion, Sum-sion, while little Melaine Crandall is flower girl, and Stephen Dalton is the ring bearer. Working with Mrs. Dalton on the staff are: Mrs. Catherine Sumsion, properties; Marshall Fox, stage manager; Mrs. Emily Miner, prompter; Mrs. Janet k Crandall, make-up; Alleman Floral Flor-al and Friels, flowers and furnishings. |
