Show MOTHERS STUDY CLUB MEMBERS ENJOY PARTY At a recent social at the home of Mrs. A. G. Peterson the affairs of the Mothers Study club were turned over to the new president, Mrs. Willis Sumsion. Mrs. Peterson Peter-son is the retiring president and in turning the gavel over to Mrs. Sumsion, she paid tribute to the incoming officers. An interesting program was carried out during the evening, with the members answering roll- can Dy exmoiung a souvemor or relic and explaining their reasons for keeping the article. Mrs. Harold Har-old Alleman exhibited an old bell which was used by her forefathers for calling the family to a meal. Mrs. Beuluah Whiting exhibited, among other things, a collection of spoons from many European nations which she visited on a recent re-cent tour. Mrs. A. G. Peterson showed a calendar which her son-in-law recently brought from India, In-dia, which marked time for 40 years and 100 years, and there were also many other interesting articles exhibited. Norma Sumsion entertained with a piano solo and Shirley Peterson Pet-erson gave a vocal solo, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Eva Crandall. The program was in charge of Mrs. Catherine Sumsion and was concluded con-cluded with refreshments. |
