Show CHURCH NOTICES Sixth Ward ... LeRoy Whitehead, seminary instructor in-structor at Spanish Fork, will speak at the Sixth ward meeting at 7:45 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel, under direction of the ward bichopric. A splendid musical program has been arranged for the occasion. Wesley DeCoursey, a soloist for the Mendelssohn Chorus of Provo will give vocal numbers. Mrs. William Wil-liam Schreiner will give a reading and Eileen Felix and Carol Waters Wat-ers will give vocal duets. . Second Ward . . . Stanley Gunn of the Provo seminary sem-inary is scheduled to give the ' principal talk at the Second ward Sunday evening services to be held in the Second ward chapel under direction of the bishopric of the ward. He will tell of the life of Oliver Cowdry, and an invitation is extended to all members of the ward to attend. Fifth Ward ... Sunday Evening Service . . . An especially interesting program pro-gram has been arranged for Sunday Sun-day evening in the Fifth ward meeting, when Mrs. Lula Clark, who has made an extensive study of the American Indian, will speak. During her talk, Mrs: Clark will prove a number of scientific findings in connection with the early American Indian which correspond cor-respond to history and other data recorded in the Book of Mormon. In connection with the talk, a musical program is being arranged and an invitation is extended to all members of the ward and others interested, to attend. ; The meeting will begin at 6 p. m., and will be held in the Second ward chapel. First Ward . . . Sunday Services . . . President Ernest Strong of Kolob Kol-ob stake, will give a talk at the First ward Sunday evening, beginning begin-ning at 7 p. m. In connection with the talk, there will also be a musical musi-cal program and all members of the ward are invited to be present. The meeting will be under the direction of the ward bishopric. Fourth Ward . . . Baptismal service will be conduced con-duced Sunday at 12:30 p. m. Sacrament meeting Sunday at 6-30 will be in charge of the Bishopric. Bish-opric. Elder Grant Clyde, recently returned missionary from the Japanese Jap-anese mission in Hawaii, will be the principal speaker. Musical numbers will be given in connection connec-tion with the talk. All ward members mem-bers and others interested are cordially cor-dially invited to attend. |
