Show SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR FORMER CITIZEN Funeral services were conducted in the First ward Saturday for Harry H. Moore, 43, veteran of World War 1, who died last Tuesday Tues-day in Los Angeles, Calif., of -a heart attack. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Born at Haynesville, La., on November No-vember 3, 189.9, son of Henry H. and Manda Harrie Moore, he came with his parents to Springville as a youngster and spent his early life here. He enlisted in the army in March, 1917, and was discharged because of disability in 1921. He married Norma Huish on July 21, 1932, at Nephi, and they resided in Springville many years, moving mov-ing to Los Angeles, Calif., in 1939. Surviving, besides his widow, are his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, Springville; a brother and four sisters, Lonnle E. Moore," Mrs. Bernice Nelson, Mrs. R.ella Rowland, Mrs. Monte Brerton, Springville; Mrs. Maxine Blackett, Linwood, Calif.; also several sev-eral half-brothers and half-sisters. |
