Show 1 1 Q uCeception at Mapleton Honors Young Couple A wedding of Interest to friends here is that of Ray S. Whiting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Whiting Whit-ing of Mapleton, and Lora Hilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Hilton of Delta, which took place July 25, in the Manti temple. In honor of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Whiting entertained at an informal wedding reception at their home in Mapleton, Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. The bride was charming in a wedding dress of white crepe with scalloped neckline and fitted bodice. bod-ice. Her bouquet was of pink rosebuds. The bride and groom, together with their parents, received the guests, numbering approximately 250, who called during the even- ing. A delightful program and refreshments re-freshments featured the occasion. The entertaining rooms were prettily decorated for the reception recep-tion with gorgeous summer flowers flow-ers and a beautiful floral centerpiece center-piece with tall tapers formed attractive at-tractive decorations for the serving serv-ing table. Pouring at the reception were Mrs. Erma Hjorth and Mrs. Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Cox, with Nanalee Reynolds, Marlyn Davis, Carol Hilton and Dawn Hilton serving. Mrs. Arlene Holley and Mrs. Martha Whiting were in charge of the gift room. The young couple are making their home in Prove |
