MILLER IS MADE LEGION SERVICE OFFICER Service Men Invited To Contact Officer For Any Claim Problems Commander Alma Miner of the local American Legion Post, announces an-nounces that John A. Miller has been appointed Assistant Service Officer and will specialize in the claims of World, War No. 2 men and their families. Mr. Miller is well qualified for this work and has attended a special school to prepare himself to aid any veteran veter-an of this war obtain those benefits bene-fits to which the veteran is entitled. en-titled. Commander Miner advises all veterans to have a thorough physical phys-ical examination within one year from date of discharge as there are certain disabilities that are considered service connected if they are noted within one year. Some of these disabilities are Ar-' thritis, Tuberculosis, Heart Trouble, Trou-ble, Kidney Disease, Nervous Diseases, Di-seases, etc. Information concerning the educational edu-cational features of the G.
