Show Five Voting Districts Are Reorganized and New Precinct Officers Named Each of the five voting districts of Springville have completed reorganization as provided in the direct di-rect primary law during the past week. The seven members from each voting district met at the Springville Library Friday night to or- ganize the precinct. New precinct officers are Victor Frandsen, chairman; Mrs. Emily Miner, chairman representing ladies; Ivan Felix, secretary; and Ernest A. Strong, treasurer. Outgoing officers are Theron Hall, Mrs. Abe Ullock, Fred Cutler, Cut-ler, and Victor Frandsen. The new officers will act together to-gether with the chairmen of the five voting districts as a patronage patron-age sifting committee. The chairmen chair-men of the voting disricts are: First. Nolan Weight and Mrs. I Abe I'llock; Second. Jim Miller and Mrs. Emily Miner; Third. Wm. Gogafty and Mrs. Iirailsford; Fourth. Elwood Hall and Mrs. Deal Miller; Firth, George L. Benrdall and Mrs. Ruf'us Averett. Thirty-five delegates and an equal number of alternates were chosen for the Democratic County Coun-ty convention to be held in Provo next Saturday. Six delegates and six alternates were chosen for the state convention to be held in Salt Lake on April 20. Each voting vot-ing district chose one delegate and an alternate, and Theron Hall and Victor Frandsen were chosen by the precinct as delegates-at-large. |
