Show Four Springville People Hurt In Traffic Mishap Four Springville people were hurt in an accident on the Springville Spring-ville road Friday night, and three of the eight persons involved in the accident are in a serious condition con-dition at the Utah Valley hospital. Treated for cuts and bruises were Mrs. Larue Wardle, 35; Byron By-ron Wardle, 16; Orvil Wardle, 19, and Rex Wardle, 14, of i Springville. Others injured were Norma Long, Roosevelt; Mrs. Carl Coordt, Carl Coordt and Henry W. Gartner, of Hastings, Nebraska. Gartner was driving a coupe south along Seventh East at Tenth South, and Mrs. Wardle was traveling tra-veling north. Apparently seeing the tourist camp which he was seeking, Gardner made a left turn across the street directly in front of the Wardle car, and the two cars crashed nearly head-on, according ac-cording to witnesses. Gartner was pinned under his machine as it tipped on its side. Mrs. Coordt and the Coordt child were hurled from the car. Provo police officers investigated the accident. |
