NEWS FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL... By WINIFRED GARNICK Wednesday the high school was favored with a special assembly by a noted lecturer, Grace Johnson, John-son, from Yellowstone National park. She gave some very interesting inter-esting and needed information on parks, which everyone enjoyed. She is the author of the book, "Coulter's Hell." Freeland's Royal Hawaiians are appearing at the Springville high school for a national assembly this (Thursday) morning, wearing colorful native Hawaiian costumes, cos-tumes, and playing native instruments instru-ments to entertain with a unique concert of Hawaiian music. The trio of boys are very talented and entertaining. Friday at eleven o'clock the Provo high band is coming to Springville to give a concert. We know it will be good, and the public is invited. March 17 at ten o'clock, we will have a national assembly. The five best orations from this high school will be given at that time. The leads in our high school opera cast went to the Spanish Fork opera, "Uinta," Wednesday night. We received many good pointers.
