Show LADIES LITERARY i CLUB MEETING 1 An interesting meeting of the Ladies Literary club was conducted conduct-ed Thursday evening when Mrs. Oliver Dalton was hostess at her home. The book, "The Chiangs of China," Chi-na," by Elmer Clark, was given in an interesting manner by Mrs. E. T. Crandall. Morgan Thomas entertained en-tertained with piano selections and David Dalton gave violin numbers, accompanied by Mrs. Lucille Bird at the piano. During a short business meeting, meet-ing, Mrs. Paul Walker, who was recently elected president, and Mrs. V. C. Mendenhall, retiring president, were named delegates to the state convention of federated federat-ed women's clubs in Salt Lake City this weekend. Mrs. Paul Thorn and Mrs. Rea Straw, new and retiring secretaries, were named alternates. At the close of the program, a nicely arranged lunch was served to nineteen club members and Mrs. Wayne Johnson, Mrs. Nelda Fran-sen, Fran-sen, Mrs. Ralph Child, and Mrs. Lucille Bird, guests. |
