W. Grant in honor of their daughter, Dayma, and Melvin . A. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl S. Johnson of Midvale, who are to be married on Saturday. As the guests arrived, they were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, and the honored couple. From a beautifully beau-tifully decorated table covered with a lovely lace cloth and centered cen-tered with a low crystal bowl of gardenias, white chrysanthemums and red carnations, with tall white candelabra on either end, refreshments refresh-ments were served. Lovely ferns, palm plants and poinsettias added to the decorations. Serving in formal attire were: Mrs. Venice Springmeyer, Mrs. Phyllis Olsen, Mildred Parry, Mrs. Beth Lambson, Grace Gray, Barbara Bar-bara Anderson, Beth Anderson, and Elaine Peterson of Salt Lake City. . The bride-elect's trousseau and other gifts were viewed during the afternoon and Lucille Thorpe and Emmaline Johnson of Midvale were in charge of the display rooms. Featuring the entertainment were vocal solos by Mrs. F. C. Packard and violin selections by Mrs. Phyllis Smart. Mrs. Max Sum-sion Sum-sion and Mrs. Kay Johnson were accompanists. Assisting with the reception were Mrs. L. J. Loveridge and Mrs. Etta Thorpe. Mrs. Hugh Baxter and Mrs. Dorothy Kershaw of Salt Lake City were acting hostesses. |
