Show Black Hawk-Pioneer Fete Scheduled For Friday 9- Annual Entertainment To Feature Supper And Program Honoring Early Day Settlers Of This Community Several hundred townspeople are expected to attend at-tend the annual reunion of Black Hawk Indian War Veterans and Pioneers and their sons and daughters A-TTriin V pwnin cr of Vi a lfiii-inriQl Friday evening at the Memorial hall. The entertainment given each year to honor the early settlers of this community and their wives and widows is one of the outstanding outstand-ing affairs of its kind and is anticipated anti-cipated by the older people of the community as well as all other groups. Directed by Captain Elmer Bird of the Springville-Mapleton Black Hawk Indian War Veterans and Pioneers committee, plans for the evening's program have been completed com-pleted and an enjoyable time is promised everyone. Pioneers and veterans and their wives and widows wi-dows will be invited as special guests. At 6 o'clock supper will be served serv-ed at long tables arranged throughout through-out the spacious dance floor of Memorial hall. Those desiring to attend the supper are asked to contact the committee chairman of the ward in which they live and arrangements may be made to participate in the supper. Coffee will be served free of charge. During the supper, a fine program pro-gram to include some of the best local and out-of-town talent available, avail-able, will be given under the direction direc-tion of the program chairmen. Special Spe-cial guests during the evening will be remembered with a token of remembrance from the committee. commit-tee.
