Show ACCIDENT TAKES LIFE OF FORMER CITIZEN Jessie Blaine Crandall of Portland, Port-land, Oregon, a former resident of this city, was accidentally killed Tuesday in a fall at the shipyards in Portland, according to word re- ceived here. He had been working as a riveter at the shipyards for the past year. He was born in Springville August Aug-ust 10, 1905, a son of Myron Edgar and Dora Guyman Crandall. He attended elementary grade and high schools here for two years. The family then moved to Price and he graduated from the Carbon county high school in which he had taken an active part in athletics. ath-letics. Surviving besides his widow, the former Retha Berry, are two daughters and a son, Genine, 15; Mary Lou, 12, and Melvin Blaine, 8; also his mother, Mrs. Dora G. Crandall of Salt Lake City, and the following brothers and sisters: E. Vern Crandall and Frank L. Crandall of Springville; Mrs. Louise Snow of San Bernardino, Calif.; Erwin Crandall of Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev.; Mrs. Dora Barrett and Robert B. Crandall of Provo; Merrill Mer-rill Crandall of Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. Rilla C. Embree of Portland, Port-land, Oreg. |
