Show City Awards Five Pastures on Bids; Approves Plans for Disposal Plant Springville cattlemen bid a total of $4,155.79 for feed in the five city pastures, the bids being opened and awarded at the City Council meeting Monday evening. Frank Averett submitted the highest bid of $1063.54 for pasture pas-ture No. 1; Ed Averett, the highest high-est for pasture No. 2, bid $650.25; while Ruphus Averett and his son Keith offered the highest bid of $1411 for pasture No. 3; Oliver Dalton $526 for pasture No. 4, and Lynn Alleman, $505 for pasture pas-ture No. 5. Don Miner was again awarded the renting of the city property north of the Evergreen cemetery on a bid of $125. During the council meeting Councilmen Haymond, Ruff, Child and Whiting were authorized to order light poles for the recreational recrea-tional park and the Memorial Park. The city councilmen also looked over a sample flood light submitted at the meeting but decided de-cided to see others before deciding on the type to be purchased. It was also decided that property prop-erty owners whose sidewalks have been broken up by heavy equipment equip-ment going in and out of the property prop-erty at the time of construction would be asked to replace the side walks at their own expense. City Recorder Lloyd Ashcraft also announced that the contractors contrac-tors extending Springville's sewer system are back on the job and will continue with installations.
