Show Mother of Local Woman Dies; I Services in SLC Funeral services were conducted in the Thirty-Fifth ward, Salt Lake City Monday, for Mrs. Annie Jorgensen, 77, mother of Mrs. Myrtle Peterson, who died Thursday Thurs-day night, at the Peterson home of ailments incident to age. She had been living with her daughter at her home, 337 South Second East street, Springville, about six months, coming here from Salt Lake City. Interment was in Salt Lake, directed di-rected by Claudin Funeral home. Mrs. Jorgensen was born at Brigham City, May 15, 1877, a daughter of Sern and Mary Christina Chris-tina Peterson Nelson, and spent her early life in that city. She was married to August Milton Jorgen- en at Malad, Ida., in 1898. Surviving are seven sons and daughters, LeRoy Jorgensen, Mrs. Laura Bishop, Mrs. Alice Farney of Salt Lake City; Melvin Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, Riverside, . Calif.; Mrs. Beatrice Stone of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Emma Gomez, Garfield Gar-field and Mrs. Peterson of Springville; Spring-ville; also 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; two brothers broth-ers and two sisters, Nephi and Orval Nelson, Mrs. Jeannette Olson Ol-son and Mrs. Mae Nedbalik all of Brigham City. |
