The idea is to get five of ona color in a row, vertically, horizontally, hori-zontally, or diagonally. The first player to do this is the winner. Each player gets 12 markers all of one color. The first player places a marker on any of the 64 squares, and the second player then places one of his markers on one of the remaining squares. Players take turns "placing" until un-til all markers are on the board or until one player has five in a row. If no player has succeeded in getting a five score by the time all markers are on the board, the players commence to move one at a time to any adjacent empty square in any direction. This means there, may be eight possible ' moves or less if some of the nearby squares are occupied. Jumping is not allowed. ' Watch your moves in Go-Ban or you'll "go bang" into trouble. |
