He simply couldn't believe them and yet the bey obviously wasn't normal and showed no indication of improvement. It also occurred to him that showing his wife more tenderness and consideration might help her over her melancholy. He began taking her out more often, planning their evenings together as though they were dates. Now, two years later, he and his wife have passed through this ordeal without either losing their sense of balance. In fact, they feel closer to each other than ever before. Best of all, his little boy has confounded the medical fraternity by displaying a remarkable degree cil alertness. He is making progress. |
