Show ! Mapleton Gold-Green j Ball Pretty Affair ! J "Springtime" was the theme of the two Mapleton wards Gold and Green Ball Tuesday evening in the , Memorial Hall. Yellow daffodils and pink sweet-peas were used in profusion to decorate the rostrom. i Leonard Allan, superintendent of the Second ward MIA had charge , of the evening which included dancing to Bert Murdock's orches- tra and a floor show. Mrs. Evelyn Allan gave two vo- cal numbers; the Scouts and Bee-l Bee-l hive members of the Second ward presented a Dutch dance and the Springville Sixth ward gave the , English Ribbon dance. There were j also two square dances under di- rection of Dewey Nelson and a , prize waltz in charge of the Spec- lal Interest group in which Mr. and Mrs. James Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Norris T. Binks won prizes. |
