SHS A Cappella Choir Sets Date for Spring Concert The high school a capella choir will present its spring concert' Thursday evening, April 26, at 8:15 p.m. in the high - school auditorium. This talented group oegan tneir concert season by performing for the art opening. open-ing. Their concert series will continue with appearances at Snow College, Manti high school, Fountain Green, Springville, BYU, Vernal, Roosevelt Roose-velt and Monroe, Utah, and in several sev-eral LDS wards. Under the direction of Glenn A. Montague, the choir has been commended com-mended throughout the state for their artistic interpretations of unaccompanied un-accompanied choral music. They have received recognition from many of the outstanding music people. in the state including J. Spencer Cornwall, who wrote that, "We do not hear better high school choral singing than that of the Springville choir." The concert next Thursday will be free of charge and an invitation is extended to the public to be in attendance. |
