The new Mrs. Davies is a grad uate of the Springville high schoo and seminary and in June receive her diploma from the Brighan Young university majoring in eie mentary education. She plans ti teach school in Tooele next year Eugene has served four year; in the Navy. He graduated fror. the Springville high school and L a former student of the BYU. B plans to continue his education a the University of Utah. I Pretty in every detail was the wedding receDtion honoring the former Miss Sallie Duncan and her husband Eugene Davies, on Friday evening of last week in the Third Ninth ward church. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Duncan of Springville and the groom's parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davies of Mapleton. They were married in Salt Lake temple rites June 25, with President Robert D. Young officiating. For her wedding gown the charming bride chose a nylon lace over satin fashioned with tiers of ruffles on the skirt and tight fitting fit-ting bodice all hand-made. Her lace edged veil was held in place with a tierra of seed-pearls, and she carried a bridal bouquet of cream-colored resebuds centered with an orchid. Her attendants were her sister, Catherine Duncan, maid of honor; Mildred Haymond, Audrey Davies, Janice Maxfield, Joyce Halliday and Violate Meyers, bridesmaids. Their gowns were in pastel chades and their bouquets were rosebuds. Best man for the groom was his new brother-in-law, Bill Duncan. Dun-can. Others in the receiving line were parents of the bride and groom; also the bride's aunt, Mrs. Charles McNamara and her grandfather, William M. Mower. Mrs. Duncan and Mrs. McNamara wore afternoon after-noon gowns of rose and Mrs. Davies, Dav-ies, blue. Their corsages were of cream-colored rosebud's.
