Show kolob District Scouts Set Courts of Honor Nolan Weight, chairman of advancement of Kolob Ko-lob district Boy Scouts of America, announce plans for district Court of Honors to be resumed on a dis- trict basis in connection with Sun--day evening services, similar to the plans of previous years. The past two years, they have been held on an individual troop basis and have not proved successful, success-ful, Mr. Weight reported. The Courts of Honor will be held the first Sunday of the month starting the first Sunday in November Nov-ember in the First ward, and will rotate from ward to ward. The schedule is as follows: Sunday, November 4: First ward; December 2, Second ward; January 6, Third ward. Sunday, February 3, is National Scout Sunday and each ward will hold a separate service in its own ward. The Courts of Honor will resume on Sunday, March 2, in the 4th ward; April 6, in the Fifth; May 4, in the Sixth. During June, July and August, the Courts will be held in connection connec-tion with outdoor events, the dates of which will be announced at a later date. Next fall Courts are planned for Sunday, September 7, in the Seventh ward; October 5, in the Eighth; November 2, in the Ninth and December 7, 1952 in Mapleton. The Board of Review will be conducted on the last Thursday of each month, scout officials an-announce, an-announce, in the scout room of the stake house. Mr. Weight also announces the revision of merit badge counselors counsel-ors and will be available to all scoutmasters, soon. |
