Show Elsa Maxwell's RSVP Reviewed at Club Another in a series of topics, on distinguished women, was taken up at the meeting of the Ladies Literary Liter-ary club Thursday evening, when they met with Mrs. Helen Anderson. Ander-son. Mrs. E. S. Groesbeck reviewed review-ed Elsa Maxwell's book R.S.V.P. in which Miss Maxwell, internation- ally known hostess, tells of entertaining' enter-taining' for royalty and nationally known individuals in Europe and the United States. The current event of the evening even-ing was given by Mrs. Harold Christensen who read Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing verses. Mrs. Berton Groesbeck, club president, in charge of the meeting, meet-ing, gave a few thoughts on Thanksgiving and ask Mrs. F. C. Packard to read the national president's pres-ident's Thanksgiving message in place of the club collect. The min. utes were read by Mrs. G. W. Sum-sion, Sum-sion, secretary. In closing the hostess assisted by her sister, Mrs. DelMoine Christensen, Chris-tensen, served a nicely arranged tray lunch. |
