Show t Anniversary Program Is Set by DUP Tuesday in Stake House Springville's 101st birthday will be observed by the combined Daughters of Utah Pioneers' camps of Springville and Mapleton, which are sponsoring a community program on Tuesday, September 18, in the stake house. The anniversary program will begin at 2 p.m., and an invitation is extended to DUP members and all other interested citizens. Mrs. Permelia Felix, captain of the DUP organizations, will be in charge. The program will open with a number from a chorus representing represent-ing DUP camp Kolob. Mrs. Mel-inda Mel-inda Sumsion will offer the invo-vation. invo-vation. A trio from Camp Spring Creek will give a number and Mrs. Ella Reynolds will talk on the subject, "They Came in 1851." There will be an instrumental number furnished furn-ished by Camp Sierra Bonita. The speaker of the afternoon will be Mrs. Edith Powell, a former Utah County DUP president. A chorus from the Camp Kolob will furnish music and Mapleton will also give a number during the afternoon anniversary program. |
